      On the afternoon of August 30, when the “Chinese·Dream Flying” education donation activity was completed, Du Jingang, Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Industry and Commerce of Tongliang District and Chairman of Chongqing Ziyuan Industrial (Group) Co., Ltd. immediately picked up Luo Hui, the student with the top NCEE score in science and took him back to the office for discussing with him about issues of donation to his college education.

      Luo Hui lived in No. 15 group of Tianxing Village, Lvfeng Town. His father, Luo Wanan, became disabled due to right back injury during farm work, in addition to suffering of severe emphysema; his mother grew crops on over 10 acres of farmland that were uncultivated by fellow villagers. All the family has been living on minimum relief funds (144 Yuan/month) granted by the government. In 2012, Luo Hui graduated from Lvfeng Middle School and was admitted by Tongliang Middle School; after enrollment, he worked hard and got 684 points in NCEE; as the student with the top NCEE score in science, he was admitted by the Department of Medicine of Peking University. Tongliang Middle School and Lvfeng Town Government held a party for him, and granted him a scholarship of 20,000 Yuan, respectively.

      On August 30, Luo Hui made a speech at the donation ceremony as a representative of subsidized students, and Du Jingang was deeply moved. After the ceremony, he consulted the officials about Luo Hui, and immediately decided to extended financial help to Luo Hui to complete college education. Du Jingang expressed that, Luo Hui’s college tuition and part of living expenses during his stay in the college would be subsidized by him and his company until Luo Hui’s college graduation.

      It is reported that, during the period from 2000 to 2015, Du Jingang has successfully subsidized 8 college students. In addition to economic support, Du Jingang also called subsidized students to ask about their living conditions and know their academic conditions and thoughts, and encouraged them based on his own entrepreneurial experience to learn professional knowledge, so as to become useful to society in the future. Some subsidized students have already completed their studies, and some of them are continuing study. Among all employed subsidized students, the one with the highest annual salary is up to 400,000 Yuan.
